My Point Why don't They Re-Release Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater On The PSP

Sorry did I miss something Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater is Coming out on the Nintendo 3d Ds This Christmas.

Why can't they bring it out on the PSP if they can bring it out on the Nintendo.

I would love to play it and it was one of the last playstation 2 games that came out before the new consoles came out SO i never got a chance to play it.

If they can port it to the ds why not the PSP.

Because the 3DS is more powerful than the PSP? I dunno, just a guess. As far as I know the 3DS is almost as powerful as a Gamecube.

I doubt the PSP could handle it. Just look at Peace Walker, gorgeous PSP game but the enviroments are tiny and doesn't look anywhere near as good as Snake Eater. There's also the limited space on the UMD compared the the very full Snake Eater DVD for all the dialogue in the game. Then there's the controls whichare far more complex than portable ops or peace walker and won't work on the PSP.

I think it's more powerful considering it has roughly the same horsepower but far less screen to fill with exciting graphhics than a gamecube did.

True, but with 3D doesn't it have to render each frame twice? Imagine that coimplicates it a tad. Some of it looks really impressive graphically though.

It depends how they're doing it really. They could be halving the horizontal resolution and upscaling it in order to compensate for having to render both frames in a similar way to some PS3 games. There aren't really many details out there at the moment unfortunately.

Judging from the videos from the Biohazard games though, I have a feeling the 3DS is perfectly capable of handling it.

3DS is far more powerful than the cube when you factor in the small screen area it has to render and it's gfx card has some nifty effects that you would see in the current gen systems like pixel shaders and self shadowing. Also when you turn 3D off you get anti aliasing in its place.

Looks like the are remaking all the good game on the ps2 for the playstation 3 which is cool
