Just tried a manual scan on my Sony TV. Ch 57 from CC not active it seems.

Was Clermont DTT off the air completely at any time today?

Had reasonable analogue CH52 & 56 earlier today on temporary rigged aerial. (also poor 66 & 68)

Scanned all other ch's 50-68 with MPEG2 box, but didn't register anything.
Have since removed the aerial (not great, just had it lying around).

Not sure whether to blame aerial, cheapo box or just poor reception conditions.

Clermont is intermittent for me today and has been for a few weeks now. Channels either don't come on at all or have low signal, then other times i's rock solid. Analogue has always been excellent quality so I don't know what's going on. When I checked earlier it was on but breaking up every few moments.

Probably the DTT transmissions are still coming for the separate aerial stack that is shielded towards the north and lower down from the analogue stack, end result being that anything more than a few miles north of Clermont is likely to be intermittent.

Is Clermont restricted in Northwest direction, say towards Monaghan?

Don't normally use it for analogue but thought there might be usable DTT signal.

DTT has been rock solid since March for me though, it's only in the last few weeks I have experienced problems.

I live in Balbriggan North. I originally had my antenna set for Three Rock, but have recently changed to Clermont Carn. Although the signal is not at full strength, it is good.

Right now I am doing a digital strength test. Results:

    730.00MHz
    RTENL
    Signal Quality = Good
    Signal Strength = 43%
    Modulation = 64-QAM

I hope this is of some help.

There are HD transmissions now through Clermont on the station name RTENL2.

    Quality is exellent.
