Was in Tesco Wexford today and saw Belkin G modem Router priced @ €67.49 on shelf, price checker is nearby computer hardware so just scanned it and it came up @ €39.99 .Seems fairly good price for router that you can go in and pick up off the shelf?

I have had two Belkin routers and they were absolute junk. Belkin knowingly release products that don’t work. Avoid..

I avoid any Belkin gear like the plague after having numerous issues with their products over the years.

I've got a Belkin router and it's crap, anyone got any recommendations for one that I can replace it with?

The Buffalo WHR-G125 supports flashing with the DD-WRT firmware. I think that would be a good choice, or any of the recommended routers here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Index:FAQ#Which_router_should_I_buy.3F

Buffalo & DD-WRT are well thought of but be careful. The Belkin products I owned (and binned) where modem/routers.

If you buy a pure router you will also need to buy a modem assuming you are using ADSl/ADSL2(+)
