    That's right, Solid Snake will make another appearance on the PSP later this year in Japan, and then hopefully early 2011 when the game is released in Europe. Monster Hunter 3 Portable will feature Solid Snake and the Boss as playable characters. So video released yet but you can check out the artwork below. Hunter will also be able to use Stealth and use boxes to hide in.

    Could this lead to a Capcom vs. Konami SF type game....we certainly hope so!

    I'd have a hell of a lot more interest in a PS3 or 360 version of Monster Hunter tbh!

    HELLL YEAH (PS3 VERSION FTW! :cool:)

    But apparently it was just to much work to create a game on a scale so large ;_;

    There is actually a 360 Monster Hunter game out in Japan recently, think it might just be a port of a PC game or something though.

    Since Peace Walker featured Monster Hunter, this seems fairly natural. Must get around to unlocking those missions in PW, actually: got too distracted by Dragon Quest IX, and haven't turned on my PSP since!

    MHP3, when it gets localized (judging by how they are speeding up localizations I'm guessing 6~7 months), might bring me back to Monster Hunter :)

    A PS3 Version would bring me back quicker though, or a release of frontier outside of China, Korea and Japan.

    I just find it extremely hard to get into this series. I've played a few hours of MH3, and it just isn't appealing to me at all: the dull fetch quests and 'grinding', the awkward controls, the micromanagement etc... It is satisfying when you are actually Monster Hunting, but it just feels like a big effort to get to that point!
