Yup. It's fairly good for what it is.

What do you need it for?

nothing special really just internet and general mobile messing around .
what was worring me is that only reviews i can find are all early 2009 so is this old stock they are trying to flog off ?

also it has an optical drive which didnt seem to be a feature in original spec
it is not available on the dell website thats why i was wondering if its old stock

Carphone warhouse are advertising it as a Studio 14z which seems unlikely as the Studio 14z didn't have an optical drive.

Its possibly an Inspiron 14z which did have an optical drive.

Likewise just saying it has a 1.6GHz processor doesnt mean much, you need to know the exact model (to tell you the architecture, number of cores etc). Actually I suspect they have gotten this part of the spec wrong also, there's only a couple of ULV processors running at 1.6GHz and I doubt this uses any of them.

Before giving an opinion on it, i'd need to know exactly what im giving an opinion on - model number, processor, battery size, screen res, everything. There's too many question marks here to give a useful opinion.

You should look at this. I don't think it is a 14z.
