4 days into the cut and I had my first wobble. Saved it by having some chicken, franks hot sauce and a bit of peanut butter afterwards. NYOM. Right now that feels like the tastiest thing I've ever had :/

my sister brought me for food tonight, I had a 10 ounce burger, a portion of onion rings, most of the large chips, a slice of her pizza and a diet coke. Cause I'm on a diet.

But for serious the supermacs 10oz burger is awesome, 2 ounces bigger than the mcd's double quarter pounder and way tastier with much less fat. I prefer the sauce in supermac's too. Next I must find a 1lb burger. MMmmmmm.....

    I will be going to Dundrum SC to try this on Sunday week as part of my cheat;

    http://www.thecounterburger.com/menu/

I also plan on visiting Storbucks and possibly Eddies for some chocolate cake.

Don't remember it but sounds like you put in some quality eating, I was seriously tempted to get a milkshake or an ice cream afterwards but she was full and we had groceries to do so I held off. Best part was I didn't even feel bloated.

That looks sweet, not sure what a 1lb block of meat would be like though hopefully it'll be made of several burgers rather than just one, and good quality meat obv., nothing worse than a nasty, greasy gritty burger. Have fun! Get some sort of crazy frappy drink from storbucks for the extra 1500 calories or so that it will provide you with.

when i did that low carb thing i regularily had a 1lb of mince at a sitting

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

no wonder you still managed to get stretch marks while low carbing. you need to learn a few recipes though.

Actually pound of meat is good going but without the fries and bread around it its not undoable.

it's low carb, not become a gay and stop eating :P

I'd say it'll be good quality meat.

    My plan's provisionally something like...

    1/2lb Burger from The Counter
Double chicken fillet Pita and chips from Nando's
Chocolate Brownie w/ icecream from Eddies
Venti Chocolate Creme Frappucino and cookie from Storbucks

Anyone wanna work out the kcals there?!

If anyone happened to find a pair of reaaaallly class boots in RAW at the weekend..they be mine, I lost them:(

And if someone nicked them they're dead! I'm gonna get BJJ lessons off Cardio and hunt them down.

Got to be at least 3500+. And you know you'll end up having at least 3 cookies by the time you get to storbucks.

At 2.50 a pop, unlikely. THere's a M&S on the way tho so may pop in ther for a top up. And some of their nice lemonade too. NYOM.

I'm going to blow all the money I've saved on not going out on a 4 hour feast. I need to find somewhere to fit a pizza in too. Maybe I'll start early in Dundrum and finish the day off late in Pizza Hut Blanchardstown.

I had a T-bone steak in Tenerife. Advertised as 700 grams. I got that sucker off the bone with both hands towards the end. :)

first of all, i have to stop looking in here, you pricks make me sick.
and to think, i felt bad about a few cookies earlier.

A pound a pound of meat isn't a whole lot, a lot of steaks will hit this.

    rocky, advertised as 700g doesn't mean 700g :D
Plus, the bone adds a lot.

64oz rump in Spur for the win, (is it irelands biggest, dublins?)

Washing down this morning's serving of hydroxycut with a red bull shot...? Let's see how bad an idea that is.

Dude's like a ****ing manga cartoon with muscles. UNREAL shape.

As for the miss... can't tell from there. May have just extended too late, pulled backwards, jumped forwards... coulda been a million things. You can be sure with a couple more attempts he'd have smashed it tho.

northsiders - check out kerrigans meat factory store in the baldoyle industrial estate.

I got 40 chicken fillets for 25 quid or something. It was on special, but it's great value on everything and perfect if you get paid monthly.
