Got a special offer on canned tomatoes that I'm delighted about.

(Once you start paying for your own food, your perspective on what's cool gets distorted).

But I did get a genuinely interesting deal too:

They're selling it for only a euro in the UCD campus bookstore. :D

Got this at the Awear Student night yesterday evening. Between the %20 discount and the €25 voucher I had, it only cost me €7!

It's far too breakable for my liking. I wanted a cheap brick of a Nokia which would last me a number of years as they always tend to do... I give this one 2 months before it dies a horrible death... Probably by falling into a cup of tea.

    I got this camera today...

    canon-powershot-a480.jpg

But found out when I got home that it only works with batteries >.<

This is a shoutout to all those C&H'ers interested in photography, Kateos2, Jackobyte et al..

Is this a good camera? It needs to be fairly good for college.
Should I take it back and get a new one?!

I've had my Tocco for over a year now and it's been thrown down flights of stairs, fell into toilets and plenty more! I'm suprised how long it has lasted but it's in pretty good condition bar a load of scratches! :D

What is it that you need it for?

EDIT: If you need big prints of whatever, you might need a bigger sensor. Megapixels aren't the whole story.

Might be better if your budget stretched further.

and the The Sun paper. It's trashy sometimes but there's some good stuff in it the odd time and the Sports are extensive. Reminds me of home too even though I live 2 hours away s'all. I like 'getting the paper':
