    the info was translated from some russian language so it can explains some grammars mistake in it too :P. it also can means you get full 8 interceptors rather than the default 4 now.

    i lol at the Ultra neff. told ya it was actually a small buff to ultras at the same time but it is now completely broken:p

    and OMG to the timer. never really hoping the timer get implemented but tbh i am so happy with this. say byebye to supply counting and gaming 6th sense! well, gaming 6th sense still matters but it certainly can helps alot for people who try to improve:P

    The official patch notes are out

    Basically all the changes that Blizzard outlined a few weeks ago are going to happen and no other real balance changes.

    Reapers and Zealots get slowed down, thats about it.

    I feel they don't want to experiment too much right now and will wait and see how this affects gameplay.

    Fixed an issue where the back button would not always return players to the score screen properly.

    I thought they were going to fix the register online/play offline bug.

    I still cannot play when my net is down.

    Just played a couple of games there.. there's some new icons for various things, ie nuke and blink. quite nice

    aye. New icon for overlord creep.

    Hasn't changed a jot tho. Just got 4 gate zealot rushed. Scouted it, saw it, went for the supposed counter with roaches, still got owned. Nonsense tbh. Zerg need lots of love tbh. They should spawn with creep surrounding their entrance. Terran and protoss can wall in and stop rubbish like that. Zerg cant.

    Oh great.. Im 3 or 4 missions from finishing the whole thing on brutal. So i guess i have to start again? I might hold out for a hotfix, i really dont want to spend hours and hours on some missions again :(

    Wait, WHAT? Please tell me you can still open the mission list after you finished the SP campaign - I've been slowly working on completely all missions on Brutal. Slowly mind.

    Just tried there, cant open any saved game. Get a error that the file types differ :/

    thats a load of ****e tbh. blizzard made a right mistake there.

    give it a few days, the bitching and moaning on the forum will hopefully kick in and force them to bring out a patch to fix the file incompatibility.

    Actually, help. The Technical Support forums are useless and searching just turns up whine threads, I can't update SC2 here, the patcher keeps crashing with a "runtime error"

    trying to get blizzard to help is a complete waste of time. honestly, best to just re-install and pray it works.

    you're telling me - I logged a thread in the technical forum, explaining the problem in detail & listed all the steps I already took (including the steps Blizzard were autoresponding with in other threads; restart router, turn off proxy servers. They even tell you to turn your computer off & on. Ha!). I didn't want to get the generic, auto reply myself.

    Anyone find they're not getting achievements after the patch?
    I was trying a few of the Insane AI ones, specifically the Outmatched 1vs2 Insane with no allies one, played on Debris Field agains two zerg, massed BCs and roflstomped them, but no achievement, fruuuuuuuuuuurrr!

    Actually come to think of it, I tried before the patch on the same map but I massed voidrays and pheonixes against two zerg and I didn't get it either, wtf?

    Maybe its a secret un-announced 'anti-skillful [EMAIL="bast@rd'"]bast@rd'[/EMAIL] edit to the achievements code?

    Would love to see the replay to see HOW you did that. 1st BC at 5.20? Second under 6.30? Saw a build order for this a while back.

    As an unranked campaign player (26 practise games left!) the ingame timer is a great boon for me.

    Yup, I did the vs 7 insane AI one a few days ago and never got the achievement.

    Was playing on b.net yesterday though and a couple of times a msg popped up in game saying that achievements have been disabled, so I guess something is up and they're working on em.

    The ingame clock allows for much more indepth detailed explanation of builds and the likes

    Instead of refering to build things by "food" which is really annoying, time hopefully will become the sweeping change.

    "Your first supply depot should drop on 1 minute 24" and the likes

    You can then very quickly tell if your slower then required, or if your on track.

    It will also allow interesting things like time to travel etc, that will allow for much more detailed strategy.

    " I realise it takes 24 seconds for a reaper to get from point a to b, and takes 60 seconds for the second reaper to come into play, so in that time I can do x,y,z"

    For terran and zerg in particular the ingame clock will be great for scouting. You'll be able to time your scouting at certain times to ensure they're not doing builds that might cause problems.

    Not at all, Debris Field is an island base map, all you gotta do is watch the other two battle each other and make sure you don't get dropped on...

    Wait a min, does it have to be me vs a team of 2 or just 2 AI's in a FFA? :/

    i feel disgusted by blizzard with the new 1.1.1 patch and i think i will be off with sc2 for some time. terran is obviously the easy mode of sc2, 3 stim marauder owns 3 ultras etc so many obvious imbalances - they delivered a tiny small neff on terran that matters nothing and they did a quick patch to neff ultras hugely.that building splash damage bug is not game breaking(how many ultras can you get in one game to exploit that), 3 ultras still die 2 when attacking planetary - while an unkillable planetary(with SCVs) is balanced is simply r etarded.

    ultras are now worse than 1.0(same as 1.1 to units), 1.1.1 version here:

    FFS, it is a tier 3 unit!
    the bug only happens when attacking building (which gives you ridiculous aoe damage to nearby units/building), but the aoe(Area of effect) of ultras to units are FINE as in 1.0 and 1.1.

    seeing that the only tier3 units that i used alot recently are ultras(broodlord?a worse joke.), i honestly think there is something wrong in the sc2 team.
