    I took the family to the Army Open Day in Athlone,yesterday. One of the attractions was theDefence Forces Parachute Team aka The Black Knights who performed a demonstration jump from Air Corps EC-135 "271".

    Love the first one of the SAS. Ya nice reg on the chopper.Waterford one has the best reg-EI-SAR.Shannon has EI-RCG and EI-CXS in Sligo.(EI-CZN Spare chopper) .

    Correct!! EI-CXS had an engine changed 3 weeks back so she was in Sligo for a day or two.

    Oh but also Rotated to different Bases too, last week EI-GCE was Rescue115. EI-RCG has also been Rescue 115, they are not confined to just 1 Base for good.

    Lovely shot of the AA OneWorld B767. The B757 was in DUB only last Sunday. (I shot it, link in previous page) I saw it earlier but couldn't get into position to get a shot, it was on the B gates, blocked by an EI A330 to me.

    Funny how both of them are missing a silver nosecone!

    I thik that is to cut down on glare coming into the cockpit. you see it on fighters with a black secion on the upper nose section. it allows for better vision i think

    The nosecone and rudder are composite material. Maybe they don't paint the nose cone silver because of the weather radar?
