Can I use MMS abroad without apps updating

    Quick question here,

    I have and iPhone3G & work in London during the week - I'd like to be able to send and receive MMS home to Ireland but am wary that the minute I switch on data roaming all of the apps with start trying to update leaving me with a mega bill ?

    Am I mistaken ?

    Just sign out of your iTunes account. The apps can't update until you acknowledge the request to do so.

    Does MMS require you turn on data roaming? It shouldn't
