    Hey everyone :D

I ain't a fresher myself, am in 3rd year studying business with marketing stream this year.
I still have notes from 1st and 2nd year so anyone who want a copy of them are more than welcome to pm me for them!

Advice to 1st year business students

Stay on good side of P.T and go to all his lectures-you'll be glad u did by when exams come!!
Can't say his name in case I get in trouble lol

    Cheers

hahhaha i remember him well....ooh boy did i get on the wrong side of him for my lack of attendance which DID NOT go unnoticed...thankfully i buttered him up one day when he escorted me to teachers quarters for handouts!! still failed though...so yes first years....beware of the P.T and attend attend attend!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,975 ✭✭✭iMuse

Never seen the deal with P.T, his teaching methods are different as he forces you to think rather than giving you the answer. But yeah attendance is key and thats how i aced both his exams in first year ;)

Attendance is also key for programming!

Is J.C doing the whole 16% of semester going towards attendance?
That can make the difference between a pass and fail. Even if you do no flippin work turn up and attempt and marks will be given :D

O god the park all the way! It's like.... Halls are mainly for first years, so you'd probelly enjoy it, its small apartments, loud and shocking staff :P but lots of people in the same shoes as you. Park has first years, but also all other years, and is a bit more civil (still mainly students... "A very small bit" :L houses are nice enough (some have showers in the bedroom, bit odd IMO (I mean like... Just a shower in a Conor) lol!

Wow! Where did ya get 23? Haha! I'm 20, couple months to 21 :D still a young wan! I'm heading into 3rd year digital media! O how wonderful it is :S, ull spend most of your time in the gym and the first floor classrooms now and again :)

Just reminding people not to divulge too many personal details. These posts tend to come back and bite people on the bum later. Remember if you post your full name, then employers can see and identify you as the poster of all your boards posts.
