Also I find the use of the word biffo being used in media outrageous. Can you imagine the uproar if the media in America kept referring to Obama as a nig*er?

You really think that BIFFO and n****r are comparable?

You can do better than that, Storm.

Mark you're questioning everyone, but not taking any heed of answers to your questions.

He went to bed between 3 and 4 am - after a skin full in the bar of the Ardilaun Hotel. He was singing songs, and doing impressions of Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh. He was drinking all evening. That comes from people who were in the bar with him and spoke on Today FM tonight. It didn't come from him, because he lies and his cronies shout at reporters when they ask personal questions.

He shouldn't be waking up after a few hours sleep, go on the radio sounding rubbish, and then lie about having a hangover.

If he had said "I had a late night, and I'm fairly tired" that would have stopped the storm in a tea cup. But he didn't he just spoke down to us like kids, like he always does.

    An Annual FF event!!!!

Ha ha, what a joke - you make it sound like a social occasion.

You do know that it was suposedly a "think-in" - there was meant to be serious work going on regarding digging the country out of the hole that FF has got us in to. Obviously you just are mistakenly thinking it was a "drink-in".

But maybe you are right - certainly it is evidenced by the state of BC after his night of ballads & pints.

I am sure some serious work did go on. But to be fair they don't have to work all night.

    Grrrr. hates defending Fianna Fail

It's a shame he didn't do that on Morning Ireland. The reaction couldn't have been much worse.

I don't think he sounded hungover or drunk - he sounded congested from just being up, and he sounded tired.

We're paying him 300 grand a year, you think he'd try and be professional. We're a laughing stock, between him and Conor Lenihan it's a humiliation.

That is the shít I just can't tolerate. People blame the media, but holy christ, everyone knows he was drinking up until 4 hours before that interview today. What are the media supposed to do when they are getting rubbish answers like Hanafin is giving now.

We are basically paying a clown 300 grand a year to sing, drink and do impressions of well know irish people. What a joke.

    He has to go.

Its a combination of both. We have very poor TD's by and large and a poor media in the majority of cases. We know the causes of the former and its frequently speculated on the reasons for the latter.
