    Fair enough Lady Ga Ga has done well for herself music sales wise, so I suppose I can't really criticize her for that. I still think she is an attention seeking, extremely over hyped twat though. She seems to get more attention for all her "crazy antics" and "original style" than actual music.

    She lifted most of her earlier outfits\style directly from Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons,quite a popular new wave group back in the 80's..though nowadays Gaga has a much,much bigger budget to spend on crappy outfits

    This was done before as far back as 1982

    Ludus' concert in The Haçienda club in Manchester on November 5, 1982, filmed by Factory Ikon, showed Linder's confrontational tactics in expressing her sexual politics. Before the concert, Linder and her associates/managers, Cath Carroll and Liz Naylor, a.k.a. "The Crones", Manchester scenesters and creators of the City Life magazine, had decorated every table in the club with a paper plate with a red-stained tampon and a stubbed cigarette. Linder performed in a dress made of discarded chicken meat sewn into layers of black net, while The Crones handed out packages of leftover raw meat wrapped up in pornography. During "Too Hot To Handle", Linder whipped the dress aside to reveal a large black dildo.

    Well I have to support Ms Gaga.

    Why? A few reasons actually.

    1. She has worked very hard for many years to become the star she is today. She's not one of these manufactured pop idols that Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh churns out every few months. She persevered in her tough career and became successful through hard work. That's a nice life lesson for kids & teens.

    2. She has shown everyone that it's ok to be weird and different. There's a lot of kids out there that are bullied because they don't fit it. Lady Gaga is a great role model for them. Be different. Be proud of who you are.

    3. Her music is actually pretty good. Not everyone's taste, and I don't like all her songs, but I can't really find fault with them. They are catchy, unique and entertaining.

    4. She's not another tiny 'size zero' twig of a singer. I prefer her 'above average, but not stunning' looks. All those stunning singers/models etc come across as shallow & vain to me. Gaga comes across as more genuine.

    5. She's a very clever business woman, who knows what sells and how to get publicity. She reminds me of Oprah that way...far more business saavy than initially given credit for.
