I am nearly finished The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver. It's very hard to put down. I love reading, and am trying to get into the habit of writing a review after each book. Any thoughts/suggestions/grammar mistakes are welcome. I have quite a pile to work through :D

Probably not on the right thread, but hopefully someone can help.

At present reading Treasure Island to my son. The book I am reading from belonged to my Grandfather and I would like to get it dated but not sure how.

It was printed by the The Scribner Press in New York and is copyrighted in 1911. Its not the financial value I am looking for more really how old it is.

Any one please!!!!! :rolleyes:

But there's a rare book shop near Grafton street, my sense of direction is awful. It's somewhere between the italian food shop/restaurant and Grafton street... Near-ish Brown Thomas.

I've just finished "Trick or Treatment" by Simon Singh and Edzard Ernst.

It is a clear unbiased look into alternative medicine.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

This was very slow to start, but once you pass the half way point it's very hard to put down.
