Okay, a real list (from my point of view):

Neil Flynn (as aforementioned Janitor, but he seems cool outside of that, too)
John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox. I mean, come on.)
    Marlon Brando
    Tommy Chong
    Samuel L. Jackson
    Bobby Darin
    Gary Oldman
    Johnny Depp
    Michael Caine
    Harvey Keitel
Ewan McGregor (in a charming, charismatic cute kind of way.. it's a girl thing)
David Carradine (before.. you know.. the "incident")
    Michael Madsen
Kevin Spacey (in an unconventional way)
    Robert Downey Jr.
    Morgan Freeman
    Paul Newman
    Clint Eastwood
    Penn & Teller (particularly Teller)
Stephen Fry (in a nerdy, genuine, man worthy of endless amounts of respect)
Ray Wise (as the Devil in Reaper!)
    Bruce Willis (in select films)
    Hunter S. Thompson

Eh.. I know there's some I'm forgetting. Oh well.

    Matt dillon

Not to be confused with that tosser Matt damon.

Why do you say Matt Damon is a tosser, is it because that's a cool thing to say?

The real cool individuals are the ones who don't have to do much in order to be cool. Look at Dean Martin, the man was cool incarnate even though he spent a lot of time in close proximity to Jerry Lewis. Lewis spent his time mugging for the camera and falling around the stage, where as Dean would just stand there with a drink in hand being effortlessly cool.

Dino Paul Crocetti ( Dean Martin ) died on Christmas Day 1995 in Los Angeles, California.:(

    Aged 78.

Sinatra Dino and the original eye patch Sammy Davis Jr still get talked about today, eh!.

    :pac:

The real Eye Patch was John Wayne though.:p

:) I mentioned the movies for some for their "cool attitude" although their later movies weren't as "cool"

I respectfully disagree, Terry Crews ads are indeed brilliant, especially the punch one.

But when it comes to coolness, there is nobody cooler than Isaiah(sp) Washington.

Clint Eastwood for me , he could probably say more with one look that most actors would in an entire film.

Watched Gran Torino the other night, He's still tougher looking than the current crowd of cosmetic using ladyboys.

Most of these people are highly energetic, if not abrasive people, as far removed from effortlessly cool as you could get really.

Jim Morrison was not cool, he was a pretentious bell-end.

Speaking of Bogart. Here's a woman who was cool and no mistake.

Cary grant was the epitome of elegant cool.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

I think Charlotte Gainsbourgh has the whole effortless cool thing going on but I'm not sure if she fits the bill. Otherwise, Dr.House fo sho.

In real life though, I actually can't stand some shops you walk into (boutique-y, vegan places generally) and the shop assistants are just way too cool for you. Its like I pay you're ****ing salary, don't look at me like I'm the nerdy kid you laughed at in school, you'll be folding clothes the rest of your life 'fashion student'

    2.James Dean
    3.George Best
    4.Paul Newman
    5.Jack Nicholson (before the moobs)eek.gif
    6.George Clooney

    I'll stop here.

Steve Mc was always effortlessly cool and far, far better looking than the bunch of metros to choose from today, like that twilight bloke or the Beckhams of this world.

Bruce Willis (in select films) - again your mistaking his characters for him.
    Hunter S. Thompson - 100% agree

Only two females in 4 pages.
Is coolness strictly a macho thing or can women be cool too?

Steve McQueen - can't think of a single move he wasn't super cool in.
Clint Eastwood - from Good,Bad and Ugly through Dirty Harry and to Gran Torino, this man has defined cool!

And maybe Johnny Depp. He has a very cool style about him through all his movies.
