fender orange basket speakers?????

Hi guys I have a fender twin from the early seventies with the above speakers in it, someone told me recently that these are quite desirable and thus worth a few
bob but I can only find conflicting reports on the web, Do any of you guys know anything about them thanks?

please don't rip the speakers out of your twin,especially as they are vintage JBL's

I've no intention of ripping them out I'm just wondering if they make the amp more valuable?

glad to hear it!
in collectors terms they are desirable alright but as to an actual value on it,it's too hard to say...your amp is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it and right now it's a buyers market
as it's a silverface it's definitely not in the "unobtainium" bracket like a blackface would be

personally i wouldn't pay more than 800 for a silverface twin,maybe a grand if it had nice speakers and was in good cosmetic shape
