What size cylinder and what size burner

hi
I would appreciate some advise here.

We are planning in putting in a stove to heat the water in our new build, will be using solar panels and oil central heating.

We are planning a 350ltr triple coil tank one for solar, one for stove and one for oil.

its a 4 bed house, with 5 showers,

Two questions
1. how do I know what is the correct capacity for the triple coil tank,thinking 500ltrs
2. Will the bigger tank have an impact on the oil burner, will I need a bigger one???

A plumbing supplier told us that the tank capacity depends on how many solar panels we are going to use, say 3 for argument sake, he also said the burner is based on the square foot of the house??

I am so confused!

Yep spot on, the solar side will determine a cylinder size based on the maximum output of the panels during optimum conditions usually mid-summer, the (boiler) heating and hot water size is based on a whole house method which calculates the required load based on evaluating heat loss through the building fabric.
