Looks good! I have my own gaff but the thoughts of trying to mount it and drilling holes in the wall etc.....

I'd ideally wall-mount, but (again ideally) I'd want the cables hidden inside the wall, which requires either a lot of forward planning, or a lot of dust and mess. :)

I don't think that stand will raise the TV much (if any) more than the normal glass tv table with like three "shelves".

Truth accepted. I'm a sucker for cantilevered designs, though. :)

I also looked at this stand, which says it will work up to 42", but I don't see any reason why a 46" wouldn't work on it also.

Just back from B&Q Naas and they had a nice polished black and chrome stand that would be good for this tv. I just had a glance as i missed this BA and didn't want to torture myself. It was about €70 and straight through the main entrance, walk 5 meters and on the right for anyone interested

A friend of mine has his screen sitting on one of these. Loads of storage in it too and looks really well with a black screen.

Me and the fella were looking at the Samsung 46" Full HD LCD TV the other day for 679.00. We nearly bought it but when we went back in it was gone back up to its original price :( In the end we decided on a 42" Philips and I am happy we did because it is fantastic :D It was 700.00 but we got it for 680.00. Has a better picture and sound so i'm delighted :D

Mine arrived this morning at 9.30. Set it up with ordinary Sky box on a good quality scart cable. Picture is fantastic. Would appreciate recommendations for an indoor aerial for reception in Newbridge.

Oh, almost forgot, thanks a million t125. I also nominate you for bargain alert of the year.
