LeeDroid - System Update

Hi all,
Is anyone else using LeeDroid 2.2? I just checked for a system update and it says there is one available. Is this safe to do on a custom ROM?

Hmm strange. I just checked again and its gone. It was something like a keyboard update. Odd...

Right, ran the software update check and got the following update availabie:

- Update Android OS update patch
- Enhanced multi inbox Gmail support
- Improved RUS keyboard layout

Size: 25.06MB

Is this safe to do on a custom ROM?

It will more than likely present some bugs and problems but I think you have to be prepared to experiment with these things. I've updated od several times through its version of the updater but it tends to be a complete rom, just the next iteration.

I've had problems, boot loops etc. But when they get it right its worth it. Currently on 4.0 build 23 and it's solid as a rock. Good luck.

Oh sorry, this is an official update? I'm not sure I would if I were you. Could result in an unroot or worse.

i've since upgraded to LeeDroid 2.1, just checked, no update available. Maybe the patch is incorporated in the latest ROM??
