Hi was wondering if some one might be able to help me on this one?

I'm refurbing an old house which only ever had a back boiler in the fire for heating the rads. I'm putting in ofch but i'd also like to repace the back boiler and use it also. The house has been completely re-piped for the rads and i need a replacement cylinder for the hot press due to a pin hole in the old one.

Do i need a special type of cylinder to use OFCH in conjunction with a back boiler?
I love open fires so i thought i might as well have it heating water while its lit!
Can anyone shed any light on this kind of set up, and what parts i'm going to need?

    Thanks John

Cylinder will need replacing with a dual coil cylinder or if your considering solar in the future get a three coil cylinder. Pipework will need changing as will the F&E if its not suitable for solar fuel, also make sure to fit a blow off (pressure relief valve) and check the boiler is suitable for an open vented system.:)
