Remember reading about this a few years ago, still makes my blood boil

The story of Albert Fish always freaked me out. He killed and ate children. It's really messed up and on that Wiki page there's a letter he wrote to the mother of one child and a transcript of a confession he made to another, where he detailed what he did. They're not for the faint hearted.

Jaysus. I feel sick after reading that.

some pretty heavy s'hit here. i'd read the ed gein, albert fish ones before but some of the others i'd no idea about - there are really some f'ucked up people in the world. here's richard ramierz - another total nutjob who when i read him made my skin literally crawl

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Ramirez

but in similar fashion to the reactions to those crazies in the ukraine, i stupidly watched the video of ken bigley being beheaded. i never ever will put myself in a position where i've a memory of images like that again.

And then there's the Taman Shud case -
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taman_Shud

    - which frankly, weirds me out far more than I can rationalise. I mean, I know it wasn't easy to identify somebody back in ye olden days, but there's something about all the weird little details that add up to a very unnerving Twilight Zoney yarn that I just can't shake.

Any chance of a summary of what happened? tl;dr

It's not exactly a story I have, but it's still something that's fairly ****ed up. :(

I was browsing 4chan one day and someone posted a picture of "baby stew" ... Yeah, it was awful. I won't go into details about it but I just hope to god it was fake. It makes me feel sick thinking about it, been playing up on my mind for ages. :(

To simplify it very, very much - an unidentifiable man was found dead of no apparent cause, with an unbreakable code written on a fragment of an extremely rare book hidden in his clothing.

It doesn't sound creepy when it's put like that, but there's a lot more to it when you read into the whole case. None of it makes any sense, some of it seems to conflict, and it may or may not be related to a number of equally strange cases in the area, including one apparent suicide and another which sent a man to a mental hospital.

Yeah, there's loads of wierd little things in the story that make no sense. Would take too long to sum it up. Read the wikipedia page and some of it's sources for the whole story!

This guy was pretty disturbing too. Particularly trying to turn his victims into zombies using acid.

How can people say that there should be no death penalty. The people involved in this are frightening in the extreme. So young and so uncaring. What sort of monsters would they become as they got older.

That's not too weird. The passenger might have had his mp3 player on too loud. I'm sure we've all had nasty thoughts about what we'd do to that guy beside us who won't turn his music down.

I'm surprised no one has mention 9/11!

That for me is one very very frightening news story.

After hearing the news and reading the articles about it, I was foolish enough to watch it myself. I only lasted about 15 seconds or so, seriously the most fúcked up stuff I have ever seen in my life, I actually felt sick. I looked away from the screen and even hearing the sound of the video was horrible. It's things like that that make me lose faith in humankind, how could someone do something as horrendous as that to another human being? Words can't describe how I feel about those two sick and twisted individuals.

To anyone who hasn't seen the video, DO NOT WATCH IT, you will instantly regret it. I did and there's no way of erasing those gruesome images from my mind, thankfully I didn't have the stomach to watch the entire video.

I know some people will still watch it no matter what I say.

    Do not watch it.

I don’t mean to pick on you solely because I know others have watched this video, but why in gods name would you watch a video like this. I know there is a morbid fascination in all of us that makes us look at things we really shouldn’t, but did you really think you would feel anything but horror and disgust?
Yes the people in that do these terrible things do make you lose faith in humanity but so does the people that watch sick sh*t like this.

Of course it is a disturbing video, but it is also fascinating. It is a clear portrayal of pure evil, something which you see first hand very often. Sometimes it is a good thing to see exactly what it is we are fighting against when we choose good over evil.

I had a hard time sleeping last nite because of this thread...

Some of the stuff is absolutely horrible but what got me most were the deranged ukranian kids and that guy who ate children.

The skiers in Russia was pretty creepy as well but the descriptions the guy gave who ate children was just too much.

I never knew such people could exist. They're nothing but sick and evil. And it's a completely new definition of sick and evil on a whole new scale. Like even animals don't do insane stuff like that.

I got two that I can remember being pretty vile.

I didn't look it up because I'm on a crap computer that's pretty slow but I remember a story about some hillybilly A-holes that neglected their new born baby. Came into their mobile home and found the baby being eaten alive by rats...disgusting..

You answered your own question there.

A part of you whether you like it or not is curious about things such as this, no matter how bad people say that they are, it's just human nature. Put in the number 3 on google on you will see that it is one of the top searches on google. I said I was foolish to look at it and I was, people told me not to watch it but I did.
