I bought a great silk print dress for €6 and a pink skirt originally from Urban Outfitters for €4 in a charity shop today! I bought the skirt in grey a few months back for 10 times the price. Charity shops rule :)

Are any particular ones better than others, the only ones near me would be Oxfam or the Cancer Society shop, they any good?

I bought in the Cancer Socity today in Rathmines, the one with Vintage written on the windows. Last weekend I walked from the ones on George's Street all the way to Rathmines and went into every charity shop on the way (I was avoiding my thesis!). I can't say that any one was better than all the others, and apparently all the stock changes quite regularly so it can be a matter of chance! Check them every couple of weeks if you can and I'm sure you'll find a few gems :)

This is the skirt I got, btw

    Pardon!

No need to take it personal everyone...
If a shop assistant recommended an item that didn't appeal to me I would say yock to her too.

The Joker, I don't think you are getting whats happening here. There is a difference between criticizing the garment and just posting unhelpful remarks. This is not the thread for arguing but a place for people to display what they have purchased. It doesn't matter if you like it or not it's their purchase.
Please let the thread return to is usual peaceful flow.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

i'm buying from their web store although you can buy in UO or Raidar in stephen's green.

they are the average joe cut which i've had a pair of before until i somehow misplaced them.

here's the links to the two there the pictures are not off the same jeans in my previous post

    http://shop.nudiejeans.com/system/search/product.asp?id=1059&b=20&c=113&page=1&rnum=8

    http://shop.nudiejeans.com/system/search/product.asp?id=1660&b=20&c=113&page=1&rnum=5

the shipping is free if you spend over 150 euro :pac:

the cut on these are amazing i find. i wear a lot of different runners from cons to tigers to puma's (non skanger white ones ;)) and they sit perfectly on top of each despite all my runners having various levels of chunkiness (can't think of a better word but i think you'll know what i mean).

I started another thread on here to see if there were any other places online that might be selling old stock of the jeans in a bid to get them a little cheaper, but tbh they are worth full whack in my opinion.

This is the latest damage I have done on Topshop.com :D
Between student discount and the sterling the whole lot was €200 as opposed to the €260 I would have payed instore. Plus there is the whole excitement of getting a package!

I am mad about loafers at the moment. It is part of the whole feminine/masculine thing I like to do.

The leather gillet hybrid thingy is my Jess from gilmore girls tribute. I blame the repeats on E4 all summer.

The parka is more green in the light. It's so warm and fab!

Ooo, where did you get these? Was shopping with my sister the other day and she was looking for low heels for work but couldn't find any she liked. These are lovely. :)
Thanks! I got them in Debenhams on Henry St. Unfortunately, they only had one pair left that I saw (the ones I bought!). They're the Carvela Avon Courts. I think House of Fraser stocks Carvela, if that's any use to you. Good luck with the hunt!
