Faulty WiFi on a IBM T41

    Hi

    Got a secondhand IBM T41 laptop. It seems fine except the wireless internet wifi connection keeps going off and on again on the laptop . It works grand for the first few minutes then stops for long periods.
    its not the internet in the house as i have another laptop and its very fast and never stops.
    The laptop is a few years old and windows 7 has been installed on it, as far as i can see all the latest updates have been installed.
    Has anyone any idea whats wrong ?

    it may be problem with wifi card itself, try to uninstall wifi drivers and install again, if this wont help, get new card...saw few for around tenner on adverts
