Is Geography or Home Economics a science subject?

Hi i'd like to know if geography or home economics counts as a science subject at ucd or tcd?

I believe Trinity will count geography as a science subject but for science courses it requires two science subjects, so you'd need geography along with another science subject or higher level maths. Where as in UCD only laboratory science subjects are accepted.

You'd want to check the entry requirements for each course to be sure though.
