    I'd guess it was made in a state of disblief or outrage, as to how anyone could do this and they just want to vent/talk about it.

    Dose anyone know if there any legally way a pet owner can kill their pet besides taking it to be put down by a vet?
    By this I mean is it illegal for someone to drown their own puppies?

    Before anyone calls me a sick bastard I would never do such a thing.

    The only time I would ever kill an animal is for food and even then reluctantly and I would never inflict intentional pain on an animal.

    Well it depends I think. I mean if you adopted a tiger (just go with this) and killed it in self-defense, I think you'd be okay. But you'd still get charged for the cruelty (taking an animal out of it's natural habitat). Basically you'd be charged with something.

    Thats grand, i'l look at it tomorrow.

    There was a similarly morbid thread started a few weeks ago with a vid of some creepy & very disturbing farm animal cruelty & its not the sort of thing you want lingering in your mind as you try to get to sleep.

    Also a couple of dickheads started with the nerdtastic puns about the video which annoyed me even more.

    Discussing such issues in AH is always going to end in a thread lock.

    Under irish law you can kill a wounded animal even a dog. I have distant memories of long long ago where drivers would finish off a dog they ran over before delivering back to the owners house.

    I hate scum that do stuff like that, it's un-justifiable, unwanted or not. I was maybe being a bit OTT with the torture but it's shocking to me.

    You weren't OTT. Animals, mainly babies are like human babies. They can't defend themselves at all. I wouldn't torture someone to death I don't think but I can see why someone would.

    Clearly I meant animals that can't defend themselves are like babies since neither can defend themselves. But if a dog is trying to rip my arm off, it's getting stopped.

    Missed the Cool Vids thread, haven't been in there in yonks.

    I'm no Columbo, but her body language would suggest to me that she had the approval of an adult or was indeed, following their instructions.

    She doesn't act like she is being mischievous to any great degree tbh.

    When I was around ten, I have a memory of an uncle stopping at a bridge and throwing a bag of kittens off it into the river below.

    It's very vague, but I remember crying and being scared and I think that is where my severe claustrophobia comes from.

    I can't bear to be enclosed or trapped in any way and I can only put it down to that event really.

    To be honest ive always thought people who drown kittens/pups are simple folk. Not the smartest.

    sure jaysis, i'l goway n drown dees little fellas mammy, i'll be back fir da dinner layter.

    I don't give a fcuk what anyone says people who do this get some sort of perverse pleasure doing it. Says an awful lot about a person.

    I'm not sure of the situation but she isn't being rough with the puppies taking them out of the bucket and she isn't throwing the puppies at the trees or bouncing their heads of the ground - To me it just looks like she has to get rid of a few unwanted puppies and since they're too big to flush down the toilet this seems like the next easy way.

    Ofcourse getting the vet to put them down is most humainly but they'd have to pay a vet to do it so this is the cheaper option.

    I known a neighbour who put greyhounds in a bag and through them in a river so maybe thats why im not so shocked at this.

    I see what your saying. Because you have witnessed this backward sort of behaviour a few times you have become desensitized to the act.
    Grand thats not your fault, you may even have grown up thinking its normal. Again, its not you. Its being surrounded by idiots who think its ok.

    But you should know this. 99% of civilized normal people think its retarded & generally a bit creepy.

    i don't really know what to say. i originally posted this up because i just thought it was so shocking and had to vent my outrage somewhere. I have gone through the posts in this thread and the other. The reactions seem fairly mixed but surely everyone can agree that this behavior, especially without any remorse, is ridiculous.
    I understand that these things happen, But she just seemed to be enjoying it.

    Anyway, if this has to be locked or deleted i don't mind. I'm just hoping she is found and gets what she deserves.
