Answering a call (iPhone 3GS)

    Noticed this a few times recently. My phone will be in my pocket, upside down generally. :p

    When it rings, I go to pull it out and 4 out of 5 times, I'll accidentally cancel the call, but I'm not sure if its because i'm pressing something or there's a problem.

    Then I noticed, that sometimes when a get a call, the way to answer is the slidy thing, and then other times you get a red and green button to answer or cancel. Why does ti change, and can I set it to be just one of them?


    Anyone getting this problem? Pissing off a few mates now :o

    if the phone is locked ya slide to answer, if its not locked ya get a green answer and red hang up button, i'd imagine ya dont have it locked all the time so thats how ya hang up pulling it out of ur pocket

    Ok, thanks. But it's always locked when in my pocket

    then i havent a clue, its always 1 way or the other for me depending if its locked or not, suppose it wouldnt hurt to try a restore

    seems to only happen when wearing jeans too.

    The only way to accidentally hang up a call is to hit the sleep button. Is it possible you're ''turning it on'' when you take it out of your pocket to answer it?
