    Hi,

My car has an airbag fault. I had it fixed two times, but each time after I adjusted the driver's seat, the alert light came back again. Was told that it's due to a connection problem under the driver's seat, which's no big issue. And the car had just passed NCT two months before.
I wonder if it's allowed to use the car to take driving test.
    Thanks!

Yes. Airbags are not a legal requirement and not part of the driving test. The tester is however allowed on a discretionary basis to refuse to go in a car if he/she believes that the car is not in a roadworthy condition.

    Hi,

No way whatsoever. The moment he spots the airbag warning light he will terminate the test.

He will not accept any excuse, letter from mechanic nothing. Get the cabling permanently repaired, then system reset.

    Good luck
