I sacrificed my dignity a few years back by getting back with a bf that cheated on me and then he cheated again....:o

Time, I do it a lot. I try my best to keep up with all family and friends. It's that simple for me, because they make me happy.

I allow some of my fiances family treat me like dirt just to keep the peace & not fight.
The strange thing is I honestly don't know why some of them hate me so much, we used to get on & then overnight they turned on me.
So it's an ongoing sacrifice :mad:

Ah no I didn't mean as in us fighting. He knows the story. But it gets on my nerves that we have to put on this show & pretend to like some of these assholes.

Believe me, some of the in-laws aren't worth spitting on, never mind wasting my breath & energy taking them on. They can squabble amongst themselves.

Yeah, fun times!
If I got my back up over every little thing they did I'd be fighting with them all the time. Now & again I blow a fuse, it's eased off considerably compared to what it was like but we still lock horns.
Not all his family are like that, just a few.

I had to sacrifice my OHs Christmas present so I could get rotton drunk last Christmas Eve.
She sacrificed the turkey to the dog the next day.
The dog choked on the bones and died a miserable death, leaving my daughter distraut and hating her mother for killing her dog.
