Might be worth saying to someone, in case you have slipped through some administrative crack.
You deserve to be told one way or another. It is poor form of them.

omg ive always wanted to go to croatia, my dad was there years back in the army, was it called yugoslavia then or am i mistaken. anyway i think he was in Split.
the photos wer just fabulous, we couldnt believe it because as kids we imagined a war zone
going to Menorca hun, cheapy holiday, in apartments so bringing noodles and beans 0 -

Secondly, I got accepted to Carlow myself:) Although because of a recent (2 weeks ago) financial situation, I'm gonna have to apply for a deferral of a year:(

Congrats on the place!!! I'm sure they won't have a problem deferring for you. My friend deferred the same course every year for a decade, before working up the guts to go for it.
Maybe it might be worth talking to the SU, to see if there are assistance or access funds that might help you out?
I know the delay sucks, but the fact you have your place. After wanting it for so long.

I've been to Croatia before, but mostly at the end of a holiday. And I've just slept there.
Split is incredibly pretty, i'd defo recommend it.
The people in the balkans are fantastic too. Very kind and friendly. They make a habit of plying you with moonshine and coffee.
It is really difficult to imagine what they have done to each other, so recently.Split is in Croatia anyway coz my parents were there. They stayed in a palace somewhere there, it's like a live in palace/castle, not expensive to stay there I think. I'm really not sure now if I'm just saying palace coz that's what they said to make it sound better hmmm
omg my mother just called me Lar in an email, she has no idea how funny that is!

Spoke to my manager, they are most probably extending my contract to January, 16 hours a week and then when Christmas staff come in it will be increased to 20. It's nothing definite yet though, which is very annoying!!
