how'd you do on the leaving cert?

    All honor level.

    A1 in Geography.
    A2 in History, Spanish, Physics.
    B3 in English and Gaeilge.
    C3 in Maths.

I done better in the subjects it was easier to produce from images and didn't require too much of your own creative input. History was my favorite subject so i was going to do well in that anyways without any other aid. Think i got 520. I remember the grades but the points are fuzzy. The whole eidetic thing was more beneficial in college than in school.

That is the most awesome thing i've ever heard. If I had three wishes id wish for that:)

Yeah it's pretty cool. Especially when it comes to quizzes and the likes. I clean up in them whenever me and the mates enter in a pub as i read the most random shíte daily and retain all the useless info. But i find it affects my creative side. It's instinct for me to reproduce something from how i first read it. So it takes me longer than the average person to try put it in my own words as it's like i'm just reading it for the first time again. If that makes sense.

Eh... What school did you got to?? Toilet attendants??

I didn't notice anyone cheating in my school, mind you the place was tiny and study hours were part of our time table.

I think it's just the kids waiting outside that walk to the jacks with you and back. They don;t literally go into the jacks with you.

As for cheating... I didn't cheat unless you count the math logs that you're given and have some formulas on it for the areas and things but you're given them in the test.

One of the toilet attendants was really smart, like amazingly smart and a bunch of people would constantly ask her for the answers everytime they went to the jacks.

I hope you cheated in Maths!

Pathetic attempt at trying to be funny.

Anyone remember Salman from the Leaving Cert forum?

Do a search for major LULZ.

I don't think I cheated on the LC...but if I'd known during the exams what grades I was going to end up with, I probably would have snuck in a few physics formulas :D

Nowadays I invigilate college exams, and I can't encourage people enough to do the 'fake label on the bottle' thing. Invigilation is horribly, horribly boring, and catching someone cheating like that is the one thing which can brighten up an entire set of exams :p

Girl in my sisters school sent her twin sister into Irish for her. She got caught out because the examiner noticed a lovely ring on her finger that he admired a few days before was gone...

Nope true story, it happened in Lucan. He had noticed the ring in all the previous exams, he asked her after the Irish in a friendly manner about the ring. Not sure exactly what she said, but they were found out...

I love idiots like that. They get everything, are cool, calm and collected and can't just say "my ring, oh yeah :( I lost it the other day, I think my sister probably took it".

Dunno about LC - I was in a different country long ago - but I've heard some interesting stories from the USA regarding calculators. There are people putting Texas Instruments TI-89 circuits in to TI-83 cases, creating a Frankenstein calculator that looks harmless but is basically a computer, complete with a Computer Algebra System that does symbolic calculus. (No more gnarly integrals!) Dunno if I'd bother, since the TI-84 is legal for many US exams such as SATs, and that's fully programmable with storage for notes and formulas - and lot cheaper than a TI-89. .

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
