Hi I'm not sure if this has been discussed here already.
I'm looking to buy schecter synyster custom guitar online.
Has anyone bought from Gearhounds or MusiciansFriend,
if so would you mind rating the service, delevery, customs and vat.
Also if anyone could recomend a good reliable site I would really appreciate it.

Maybe I'm wrong, and if I am somebody feel free to correct me, but I didn't think you could buy from musician's friend and ship to Ireland?

I have a mate that got a guitar head off gearhounds, and he didn't mention any problems. any of these would be sound I'd say...

You could buy it from the US possibly, but just be aware that you'd have to pay customs & VAT fee's on top of it.

Even with shipping and customs, it'd be less than the cost of the thomann price!
When buying anything from ebay - just ask the seller if they wouldn't mind marking the value of the guitar as half of the cost - it'll save you some tax costs at least!
