I need to study for the Audit & Assurance CAP2 exam in October and since ACCA resources seem more organised (and the ICAI examiners have a habit of lifting questions out of their exam papers to set their own) which paper- F8 or P7 would be the equivalent of the CAP2 audit paper.

    F8 is CAP2 level
    P7 is FAE level
However, they'd be no harm looking at P7 for reference. Also, look at the CPA Prof2 papers for Audit.

F8 (audit and Assurance) is the first full audit paper in ACCA - Some information from F4 (Coroporate & Bus. Law) and F7 (Financial Reporting) would help in passing this exam.

P7 (Advanced Audit & Assurance) is the final ACCA Audit exam paper which is required if you want to be an auditor.

Not sure what CAP 2 standard is, but above might help you decide.
