I know of the main advantages of JB the iphone. But what are some other advantages that may not be well known about? Is it possible to get films on itunes for use on the iphone via cydia/installous?

iTunes and cydia have no real overlap as regards content. Most if cydia deals with customization and tweaking of your iPhone.

People are impressed with simple things my need for speed video wallpaper or the family guy battery or 5 columns springboard. I don't use the wifi apps but many jailbreakers find this the main advantage. For me it's customizing. Kinda like a car I guess.
