It also depends on the standard of player you're against, if you're mopping up there's not much need to call out but if it's tight you'll be making calls - so obviously less useful on the PS3 *runs*.

LOl, i like how deluded some xbox players are :D I've played on both consoles quite alot and both have as many bad players as the other... the only thing the xbox has more of is loud mouth dickwads that rage quit 5 minutes because they're getting dun.

:D Lets not get into it, because frankly, most xbox owners don't have a ps3 because they cant afford it and therefore have no experience of playing on ze ps3 ;)

When you're playing the maps over and over again, you learn your own way of callouts with a team. Those ones you linked are terrible tbh, too detailed and such. I only watched the first 3. For example Strike, we call the 'Main Street' Mid, we call 'Blue Building' Flowers, we call the 'Duplex Motel' Mid building etc etc.

Seriously, don't bother trying to learn other peoples callouts. Make the callouts your own and the team will follow. It's the easiest way :)

LoL. How do you make out their callouts are terrible? If it works for them, then surely that means their good? And what's the difference between "Duplex Motel" and "Mid Building". Duplex motel refers to a specific building, while mid building is too vague imho. But then again, if you know what mid building is, then it's perfect for you. They could be called building A, B, C as long as people know what they are. In the main, I thought the callouts were pretty descriptive of where the location is, so can't really fault them on that.

The point about it being OTT is fair enough I guess. Personally I'd not restrict it to S&D, but certainly that's where the most benefit might accrue. I'd be delighted if I was around the C flag in Favela, and heard that there was someone coming around by barber shop. It gives me a big advantage over them, and it doesn't really matter whether it's TDM or S&D for that to be the case. But I do agree that it's a bit much for people to learn off every callout for 20 maps unless you were playing as a team the whole time. But on the flip side, I don't see why anyone couldn't use the simple "Say what you see" guide as a callout? I mean surely everyone knows where "barbershop", "lanundrette", "Garage", "poppys", "Cave", "Church" are on different maps? So if you see someone beside the Pipes in Salvage, then if you call that out people are going to know what you mean...

Callouts worked a treat here. And it didn't have to be mad complicated. "C middle window", "elevator", "under heli", "heli", "A hut", "C hut". They're all very easy when you think about it. Obvioulsy they're strong players too, but if a good player does something I'd like to learn from them and try it too. :)
