Zanussi freezer top drawer not freezing!

    Well i just dug out the warranty and i'm 2 weeks outside of a 1 year warranty!

    I hope some here can help me out.... I have a Zanussi ZBB 6286 70/30 fridge freezer. The problem is the top drawer (there are 3) is not freezing things.

    I took the drawer out and there is a fan unit at the back which isn't doing anything.. should it be on all the time? Or maybe only kicks in when it has too?

    If anyone has any advice i'm all ears!

    first thing to do is defrost it totally as ice might be restricting the fan assembly
