Vodafone Unlocking iPhone 4?

    If you pick up an iPhone 4 from Vodafone can you apply for a factory unlock from them, or do you have to spend a certain amount after the upgrade?

    From this thread it looks like they'll unlock you after 6 months, provided that you've spent at least €127 with them.
    There might be different criteria (e.g. a higher spend) for the iP4

    Contract upgrade = no unlock until 18 month contract is finished
    PAYG upgrade = unlock after spending 127 E

    does the 127 have to be after the upgrade or if i have that muuch spent already can i buy one and factory unlock it straight away?

    If you've spent €127 in the last six months they'll have it unlocked.
    I had my 32gb iPhone 4 unlocked a few days after I bought it!!
