is that the same thing for the coriander and cucumber thing. like 25% of people can't stand them? i hate coriander!

    mmm beach potato

I love coriander so much! Especially in mexican food like burritos (ye the one thing I can make :P) and mixed with iceberg lettuce and sour cream, burritos not the same without it. That indian place Shan seem to always have it in their dishes too. I wouldn't say it had a perfumy taste but hard to describe.

LOS I wasnt away! Just busy working on the show. I've not slept very well, getting back to a routine from tonight, although I'm a bit late now haha!!

Show went well, lots of drama attached but that's natural!

    Meet up next week?

Boyfriend is away...3 days until he's home! Yay!!

    How are we all?

I guessed you were just talking about the show, was chancing my arm there! I did not sleep well last night either :( I had to be up early so I woke up so many times checking my phone paranoid I'd already knocked the alarm off :/ Not very good with alarms.
I'm not free till after Tuesday, then might go home before the weekend at some stage, check up on the cat, uncle home from Canada I should visit if not purely just to laugh at his accent, sister going back to Liverpool soon so kill 3 birds with one stone or w/e :pac:

yeh, nearly a perfumey taste. It literally takes over the taste of anything it's in, so that i can only taste it, so yeh, bit of a problem. i never liked it but once upon a time my J1 landlord made a disgusting celantro [american for coriander] and rice dish for us all, and we had to slog through it. I've not been right since! myself and my brother are well know for ranting loudly against it, and inspecting all food carefully before eating!
....mmm burritos. Speaking of, there's a dee-sgusting coriander cocktail in that Green 19 bistro place on camden st. Knock yerselves out! I was in there lately and they'd only 1 veggie option on the menu, i was fairly unimpressed, but of course, not surprised! veggie burrito. Wasn't bad, wasn't great. if you're gonna do 1 thing, do it well! Even tho i'm veggie nearly 10 years, my optimism always gets the better of me, and i forgot about sh1tty veggie options. [optimism or poor memory!]

1 cup of pressed (fresh) Basil Leaves
    1/4 cup of Pine Nuts
    1/4 cup of Olive Oil
    2 cloves of Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste and I added a bit of lemon juice.

I reckon I have enough for three dinners there. You have to put cheese in usually, and most vegan ones replace the cheese with nutritional yeast, but since I can have neither I just left it out altogether and it's ****ing delish. I think I'll reduce the amount of oil next time though.

I'm gone a bit food processor mad. I made a smoothie, then the pesto, and just finished baking some cookies which are cooling. Tomorrow will be hummus and korma sauce!

yeh i don't like it too oily, and you can't take it out if you put too much in!
