It's a Frank Llyod Wright design... his fees probably cost more than the build cost.

The main picture isn't a great shot. Look at the others, especially the one where you can see how it's built over a waterfall.

I like the design. You'd want to have a good compass on ya though.

Looks like several mistakes were made in the construction.

Yeah - there's nowhere to hang the curtains from.

    Amazing house alright.

Storm2811 I wouldn't say the roof of those tree houses would last too long in bad weather.

Reminds me of the sort of house you'd see in a gangster movie like 'Scarface'. The type of place where people would be quaffing cocaine and hookers before having their blood sprayed all over the floor and walls as the rival drug gang massacred them.

    Why ruin my dream?:pac:
People do actually live in them though and they're meant to last the same amount of time as a normal house.

It looks like one of Seanie Fitzpatrick's American holiday homes.

The stonework looks like the cladding you see on ex-council houses in Crumlin and Cabra. This is the real ultimate gaff; Simpsons fans will recognise it instantly as the inspiration for Troy McLure's:
