I think we should all be naked all the time.

    Except perhaps in congested areas like clubs because it would be just too easy to rape someone. :P

    Being nude is natural. Wearing clothes is like half way between covering your whole face with a veil. Think of it like how people who wear veils all the time must feel so "naked" and afraid when they don't have them on.

    It's time to let go of our stupid superstitions and "guilt" and hiding of things and just show ourselves to the world. What have we got to hide after all?

    what, and freeze to death? Or does that mean that us womenfolk can stop shaving our legs etc and be competely natural?

    Will ya put an age restriction on it, or does all this also apply to one's parents, for example?

    Yeah that's the only other reason why it mightn't be realistic. But I don't think people should be punished for being naked anyway...

    What if.... and bare bear with me on this... people covered up in places EXCEPT for their genitals? I know it would turn it into some kind of weird porn movie :P .....but it would make a kind of sense if you think about it. It's covering up for the weather but not because of sexuality.

    I do tend to get naked in public alot...but I usually know the people and they know how I am! :D

    Not after people got used to it though. We're conditioned now to get one whenever we see a naked woman because it's so rare. However in nudist camps/colonies it's a rare enough thing, because people just view naked women so much they don't see a big deal about it.

    Yes, people's freedom should be curtailed to avoid other people's disgust :rolleyes:. Why not bring make ugly/old people cover their faces too?

    That's not to say I think nudity is socially appropriate in all situations. If nudity was legal and some randomer came onto a train and sat naked beside me, yes I'd be uncomfortable. But not really any more uncomfortable than I would be if they came in today wearing just underwear :eek:.

    If they wish to do that it's possible. It's not our business what they do in their own home.

    Maybe disorders such as pedophilia wouldn't be around to begin with if there wasn't such an "exclusivity" and elusiveness about it which could be what turns them on to it.

    Might be best to limit it to beaches and swimming areas and see how that goes... or limit it to schools and public service offices to save on uniform costs

    Disgust is an emotion. Laws should not be determined by emotions (which are subjective, fickle and not neccesarily rational), they should be determined by rational logic. You'll have to do better than an appeal to emotion if you want to explain why nudity should be illegal.

    I dont see a problem with it from a freedom point of view, however I dont want to get used to seeing women naked, it would take the appeal out of it. There has always been something sexier about a half dressed woman showing a hint of possibility than a fully naked "there you go then" woman. Then there is the problem with my keys, phone, wallet etc and the mess one would make of seats and so on. I think what you really want is a nakedness of the truth about each other instead of having to grow hair all over.

    Socity has the right to make laws in the intrest of the (vast)majority. Nudeity is just too impracticle and unwanted here to be worth trying.

    If you really want it stand for election in the nude. See how far you get.:rolleyes:

    Only because it makes your instincts more afraid of not getting anyone and being teased out of it. Fear, confusion, pretending to your instincts there is something there that isn't, shouldn't be something that helps your sex drive.
