That's awful. It actually never even entered my head about the legal implications. So if a man discovered he was raped, plucks up the courage to go and report it (and so leaving himself open to some of the opinions of people expressed here), and after all that, discovers that there's not even a law to back him up!!
No wonder a lot of male rapes go unreported.
