I hope you mean M1911;)that aint no Berretta in that masterpiece. :)

I have no idea why I put that in. I actually said out loud to myself "I've never seen one of those for a 1911 before", and then managed to write that.

Shame there's no airsoft version. It'd be about the only way I could imagine using a 1911 without feeling awful about it. That thing with the KJW CO2 1911 would be a fairly impressive piece of kit.

That's not true. Your computer has errors all the time. All that proved was that I'm not Linux based.

I'm going to sound complete noob here but but what is the deal with soldiers geting bits for their rifles ie. scopes magpul torches etc do they have to ask a commanding officer? Pay for them ? or what.....

    600 post

for the us army i believe if it does not have a natioanl stock number then you can buy it your self but you need permision from co/unit your with as it is at there discretion

if the item does have a national stock number then it can be purchaced by the unit thought there normal percurment chanels, so it cna either be requested thought the unit or purchaced privatly for use, i think the only magpul item getting a national stock number are a version of pmags everything else is really a luxury item

the british army is a little different, weapon accessory's are a lit rarer but a lot of personal kit is brought privately a lot of it small stuff but there has been cases of people replacing the ospra vests with there own privately brought protection, the issue with this is that is voids your military insurance, so if you get shot they may not pay out

I've got a few friends doing tours in Afghanistan at the moment with the US. They tell me that it varies from unit to unit, but most run a common sense approach that pretty much lays on the idea that, as long as it's not dangerous or compromising, go for it. As a result, many of them have bought their own mags (PMags in most cases, though some use the H&K STANAGs), slings, optics etc. A big one is holsters. One of the lads there was complaining to me about his issued Safariland being rubbish, but finding it impossible to get a lefty Serpa sent to him.
Interestingly, very few change their stocks or pistol grips. I guess they either can't make such semi-permanent alterations or don't feel the need.

    Ctrl+Alt+letter. So Ctrl+Alt+e = é. For capitals, add in the shift key, so Ctrl+Alt+Shift+e = É.

It's official, the new "Operation Enduring Freedom camouflage patterna" (OCP for short, or multicam to you and I), has three special powers
"fights fire and fleas, and makes them more invisible to insurgents"

    Multicam FTW then so!

    I hates fleas...

Or you could press the Alt Gr key which is Ctrl+Alt in one key :p.

Pff. No-one really uses that key. It's like the mouse-menu key. It's the least used key, and least useful key, ever created.

What about the anykey, no matter how many time you tell people to push it they are never able to find it. Its the most unused button on the keyboard

It always comes down to a P.E.B.K.A.C issue.

Problem exists between keyboard and chair!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

If you want an actual "any" key, perhaps the problem simply exists with the keyboard? Personally, I make do with, well, all of the keys.

Sad to see it come to this :(
    2010 Races Canceled

    26th. July 2010

    Press Release

    PHOENIX PARK MOTOR RACES
    14/15th. AUGUST 2010

It is with sincere regret that Motorsport Ireland announces that this year’s
racing event in the Phoenix Park is cancelled.
The funds required to build the circuit and run the event are a fine balance
between Sponsorship and Competitor Entry Fees and, unfortunately, in the
current economic environment, both elements have failed to generate
sufficient income for the event to be viable.
Motorsport Ireland wishes to thank the Office of Public Works, National
Historic Properties and the management of Farmleigh, for all the assistance
and support given towards the running of this year’s event.
Sincere thanks also to those sponsors and competitors who were committed,
and to all of the volunteers who were ready for this year’s event and without
    whom it would never run.
