We were mostly clueless about even simple stuff like flirting:( All I done when I was a teen was sport, sport, sport, hang out with mates playing a sport, local games we'd invent and play in groups and watch cartoons. I still find it very strange that people under 30 in Ireland actually went to proper religious schools. Maybe because I was in a public school but in Spain I never really saw anything like that. But then we did all end up having a totally fúcked up mind so maybe that's why.
When I was 10 my (very young, straight out of college) tutor asked our parents if she could give some unofficial sex ed classes where we could ask questions and stuff, because she said we knew a bit more than adults thought kids our age knew. She was a great teacher and we were very open with her. The class ended up turning into a "who can tell more dirty jokes" competition. Eventually the principal called for an end to it >_>

No it is already good, can only get better! I'll take some blame, I'll accept it.
Like I said, alot of us were pretty innocent over here because the church pretty much destroyed outward thinking until the late 70's early 80's...only in the last two generations have people been more open to sex etc. I was in a public school system too, but almost all the schools were run by the church sadly:(
In 6th class I did learn a bit, but only a bit because of our principal (who taught us for 5th and 6th class). He made us do a folder on the entire reproductive cycle for both sexes and we had it shown to our parents when completed...he also had a Q&A for the last 15 mins of those classes where we could ask anything of him regarding sex, I mean ANYTHING.
Your teachers sound awesome, you told me about them before but not that stuff...makes em sound even better:D
