    still playing call of pripyat at the moment, still have not got round to playing metro although i have heard it is rather good, its not good for my bank balance as new impressions keep getting planned and stores searched for odd items :)

    Sandbox games are getting out of hand. They should be banned until someone smacks the developer into knowing how to do them properly. I'm all for being able to go off wandering and do your own thing, but sometimes it's just pointless and ridiculous. Either it's the most vast map you could imagine, in which most of your time is spent walking around trying to figure out where the hell you are (Fallout style) or it's an equally vast map in which you can't explore it because it's a "sandbox" game, but actually has a linear storyline so you go where you're told to go while looking at the pretty scenery in the distance.

    I'm going back to playing Op Flashpoint on a Windows 95 machine. At least in that, if you had to travel 20 miles, you could nick a tractor somewhere.

    edit: agree txt spk is a pain in the ar..and the mods will sort it/tell them..or just report it

    LOL, it was a bit of a topic switch, poor andy-g is rushed off his feet right enough, but his attention to detail is amazing, for example i believe he sat and counted the number of keys on his keyboardjust so he could accurately dress down some young lad...
    The sadder part of this story is that i was so bored i counted them just to double check :cool:

    yeah serenity is based on the tv series firefly which i haven't seen yet, shame it got cancelled.

    didnt know that,but the movie was good,like i said in a b movie
    kinda way,made me look at a few episodes of the tv show.
