Just picked up one of these in Tesco Rathfarnham. Pretty basic but all you need really in a bbq. I was gonna get a disposable one but that would've been €4 for a once off so this makes a lot more sense. Just hope I get a few more days like today to use it :p

That's a good price and would probably buy it if I was still in the market for a BBQ.
But I just found an even better (or at least cheaper) one at Buy Lo. I didn't want to post it at first because I wasn't sure about the number and locations of branches they are currently operating, but anyway: Buy Lo (at least the Tralee store, but may be also elsewhere) are selling this Double Hibachi BBQ for the sensational price of €1.97. They still have plenty left (must have been hundreds). I used it twice so far and it works surprisingly well, you can even adjust the temperature of the meat by placing it higher or lower over the charcoal. Really nice and just half the price of a disposable one.

BTW: The red stains on picture 2 are actually paint spillings, not blood. Seriously...

Looks like it would be handy for my camping trip! Think there's a Buy Lo in Ashbourne. Has anyone used the Tesco Bucket BBQs? They were half price early in the summer but back to full price now, just when I was going to buy one!

I just checked again, still about 30 boxes left in the Tralee store.
(Just before somebody asks: the other BBQ to the right can be had for €11.86, the sign on the floor is a bit on the small side. It's more expensive than the Tesco one in the initial post, though.)

The one the right is similar to the tesco one, although I think the tesco one might be a bit bigger. Pardon my ignorance, but why do people pay a few hundred euro for some barbecues when they are essentially such simple things?
