That was in a foreign country, and unrelated to Mahon, and the rumours about her profession were untrue! :D

Jail time as opposed to the complicated sexual manoeuvre you speak of.

He's just carrying on the age-old Irish political practice of pretending he's a feckin saint, denying the obvious truth, when the world and his father knows that he's spouting bullsh1t. Another long goodbye!

Once they're found out, it never takes this long for UK politicians to feck off back to the obscurity they deserve.

I dont think they've all resigned.

It's disheartening to see how few of his colleagues in the opposition are getting fire and brimstone about this though. There's been one or two, but tbh, there's always going to be a few bad eggs. What I find most disappointing is the silence of the majority.

I think a lot of people are keeping their heads down. I would hazard a guess that a fair few of our politicians have more than one or two skeletons in their closet. There are simple answers to this, make sure everybody vouchs for their expenses with proper receipts and evidence. With regard to Ivor he will do jail time over this hopefully.

Shame on you all. According to my sunday independent - in a transcript of Ivor's statement - he is being persecuted by powerful interests. He also asks that we be sympathetic to the collapse of his 10m property portfolio. His combined household income is now only six figures p.a. 'Like the rest of us' he has been forced to tighten up. In this context, i'm sure many of you may wish to review your comments....?

They cannot cast stones, glasshouses, without sin etc

Petrified to attract Saurons all seeing eye of expenses!

That's the problem. The system is designed from the ground up to be manipulable and milkable.
    Really makes you wonder.

Perhaps its a case of "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"?

It isnt often we get the chance to see a truly gargantuan pair of brass stones shooting their maximum load onto a disgruntled population.

A truly awesome display of testicular fortitude and scrotal elasticity.

That's why Bertie abdicated, he saw the ****e at the end of the funnel and dropped the rest of his so called friends in it. Brian Cowan is no angel but he is left to do Berties dirty work .

Bertie and Celia were at the same act. The Drumcondra house?

Liam Lawler and Ray Burke were mentioned earlier and they were all Berties buddies. So why are we surprised at poor old scapegoat Ivor

So was Charles Haughey. We all knew it.

My wife went to a conference in some flash hotel, and was waiting in the lobby before the conference started. One of the Healy-Rae sons arrived, and instead of actually attending the conference, he picked up an information pack and left. They never saw him again.

I wonder what the expense rate was for "attending" that conference?

    Those guys sicken me.
"'Cute hoor" wouldn't begin to describe them.

...But it wasn't one expense claim, it was one of many, many!

...And lets be honest, IF a person is that stupid to use the wrong address many times, what the hell are they doing as a state representative if they are that thick!

He didn't get the address wrong of where to submit his claims did he!

    Monkeypants was being sarcastic. ;)

I know but while agreeing with this point being made sarcastically, I pointed out the rest. :pac:
