this might be a bit early but have we given any thought to what we'll do with them once they're developed and scanned? or was that the original vision for it? i for one would like to have a physical thing at the end - like a little photobook or a set of postcards or something. i don't really care if it's a collection of OOF, badly colour casted set of images [i'd prefer if it was though ] not everyone will, but i would. i like physical things.

I had actually forgot about this untill the weekend there but it has Left donegal on Monday, Gaa man should get it at the end of this week / start of next week according to my postwoman, Strange thing is that its only travelling about 10miles in the post but as its crossing the border it takes about 5 working days!

Ok bit of an update i got a call earlier and have to head to Dublin tomorrow asap (someone may not have long left) so depending on what happens there it could be up to a week before i am back in derry.

I will probably have left by the time it gets here if it does arrive tomorrow so there will probably be a delay in my taking the picture and posting it to the_tractor. I will take the picture and post it as soon as i can

My apologies but as you can appreciate it is beyond my control

Another update, back in derry here and the camera is sittin on my table as i type this. Will be taking the pic in the next few days and posting it to the_tractor as soon as i can

Ok picture taken today and i took a digital pic as well just in case

By a total coincidence i will be going to the area where tractor lives tomorrow so i will be personally delivering the camera

Did anyone else have to fight the urge to wind the camera on after taking their pic?

I was thinking of this, i am nearly sure there is somebody after the_tractor but cant remember who and nor arséd to go digging through the thread so what i suggest is we form a queue now with the people who are next in line first and so on, if a mod can edit this to update it as needed if i cant myself that would be cool

I am the elected Derry Snapper, and I was in Derry today, but the camera was not available to me in time, so, my dilemma is:
should I wait 1, probably 2 weeks before I am in Derry again,

or post the camera to the next person now and wait for it to come back to me,

or take a pic in Armagh next weekend - I will not be in Derry, but Armagh is not taken

Opinions please?

I actually don't mind

it would be nice for me to get the camera around the rose of tralee which is in 1-2 weeks.

(Cheesy I know but if I could get a good picture it would be an interesting slice of life sort of thing)

no pressure so.

I was not going to do a landscape I was going to try and get a good rose of tralee picture. I just don't think a landscape will work with the format of the project. small snapshots of Irish life I think are more appropriate.

Still a nice sunset would be easy and meet everyones expectations
