Just threw a few quid on it myself. Not much to lose, a lot to gain so why not? :)

I also snuck in on some of this. Missed out on a hundred and a bit and a bit on a fiver accumulator on the last UFC show. 6 right and one wrong. Sucks.

If not I'll ref the handicap match. Ger & Dancor vs V

Watch out for Ger using a hurl.

My little bet for the weekend is a treble:

    Middlesborough vs Ipswich

    QPR vs Barnsley

    Southampton
    vs Plymouth

    Pays just over 9/2.

Well I went conservatively (Sligo and St. Pats) and won 20 squid off a 7 euro stake, which was really 2 euro cause I used a free fiver. Cheers Volt.

I've decided to put some of my winnings from last night on this.

    On PP.

    Draw
    12 or more corners
Card Index: 45 points or more @ 16/1
    Live Trebles
    Leeds v Derby

When it comes to sports I'm not a betting man, well maybe for rugby.
But I never knew you could bet on how many corners there'd be. That's mad.
How far does the spectrum go in regards to bets on a footie match?

I'm normally just a win-lose-draw guy but you can pretty much bet on anything for some matches.

    1244-1615

    and im in.

    My Villa fan tip:

get in L.Young, S.Ireland & R.Keane on the cheap now, Keane and Ireland are likely to move to Villa and Young will go somewhere and be first choice perhaps Fulham (though West Brom are most recently linked).

edit: also really curious to see how many people will be in the Taiwan league :pac:

It's the FA Premier League site one. Voltwad is the man in charge.

It is the official one aye.

Obviously the person who sets up the league can moderate it by inviting or kicking people out.

Never ever bet on Boro. We're the most inconsistant team in England. One week we beat the league leaders away, next we lose at home to the team who hasn't won in 20 games.

    UFC Spoiler within:
Jaysus some finish to the Main Event, backed Silva to win by submission as well.:pac:

The ending of the UFC main event was gutting. Just out of this world dramatic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,242 ✭✭✭chordtype

That's two pretty awesome UFC PPV's in a row.

    A rematch would be awesome.

That Kilkenny team is the greatest team I've ever seen in any sport - they have mastered every facet of the game and are playing at a level no other team can even dream of coming close to. It sickens me to the core to say it, but we just have to sit back and enjoy them while they last becasue the only team that can stop them winning 6, 7, 8 or more in a row is themselves and theres no sign of that happening anytime soon.:(

They are amazing but like Pete Sampras in the 90's at Wimbeldon and Schumacher in the early 2000s, their dominance doesn't do much for me in terms of getting exicted about the hurling championship.

Hopefully someone (and I think it will be Tipp) will give them a proper game in the final.

Yeah I hear what you're saying - no one enjoys a monopoly.

If we beat Tipp in the semi (and its a big big if) I'd be terrified of a repeat of 2008.:(
