And no, I wont get over it, Im a football fan and Ill give my opinion even when not asked, here and everywhere else. The people in red jerseys that packed that stadium and la-la'd along with the fake atmosphere are nothing short of an embarrassment to football in this country. This whole exercise was a pathetic, nauseating joke.

Au contraire my dear boy, football in this country is an embarassment.

Your not a football fan at all.

You're a typical holier than tho LOI fanatic and tbh its all getting very boring.

embarrasing is LOI fans on here getting up in arms about the precious no one can critize league embarrasing themselves slagging off people enjoying a game of ball because they're not paying 15e to watch LOI football.

luckyloyd mentioned something about how badly conor was done and straight away someone was on his back, not even a bohs fan iirc!!!

    nonsense.

Grow bleedin up and realise people enjoy things differently to you, they see things differently to you, and the only embarrasing thing in LOI football is the embarassing chips on the fans shoulders.

When I bring people out of my job or friends to LOI games I pray to god we don't come across the sort of attitudes displayed on this forum because THAT'S EMBARASSING.

That a washed up juve side not putting much effort in still creating an abundance of chances and missing sitters from 6yrds didn't slaughter the mighty rovers?

    Woppy doo

See Ciaran, I'll let you in on a little secret.

I'm an adult, I don't need other people to tell me what I think, I have a mind of my own.

It's a bit like me thrown you in with a load of little tallaght knackers who think it's funny to throw a bottle at an opposing fan, and me saying see? that's your mentality.

Thoughts brought to you with a guy with full blown pubic hairs :pac:

Go and post your opinions on this game on thebohs.com with your regular account, id love to read the responses. Let the dozens of Bohs fans on there who share my opinion on this farce of a game know that you think they are an embarrassment.

Do you actually go to Dalymount? Have you mentioned the idea in the bars that you hate people who think this wankology isnt a good idea?

Methinks not, just another internet windbag.

On the rest of your nonsense.

You seem to be under some delusion that as a fan of a football club I can't critique my own fans.

I lived in Tallaght most of my life and now I see people who never showed any interest in LOI give me BS because I follow Bohs.

Where were all these people in rings end?

Where they in milltown? why do people go to LOI games wearing united jerseys? liverpool jerseys? I see this all the time, why are they not abused/banned?

Your issue is that you spend all your time putting the boot in to a league you claim to support yourself and yuk it up with your united cronies when they laugh at us.

Nobody is saying join in with the worst of the LOI bitterness (of which you have a point about) and we all savage the shortcomings of our own league, but Jaysus, you love dishing it out - when you;re not returning to Bthe ohs threads just in time for the Champions League, that is.

It must be hard being in two camps: the real Mancs laugh at the likes of you ( believe me they do) and you feel the need to put the boot into your own league at every opportunity.

No, this is the whole point, you're like it's one or the other.

I rarley put the boot into the league, sometimes the fan, yes and I have admitted the standard of football can be at times awful, (like that's news)

You're under the impression I care what "real mancs" think I don't give a hoot as lyod has told you all ready, people engadge in football or any sport as they see fit and how they want to, I don't enjoy football or support football under anyone elses rules but my own.

barstooler, fair weather whatever you want to label it as to make you feel better, I enjoy the game, in many forms and I don't let anyone else dictate to me how I should do that be that other LOI fans "mancs" or anyone else.

See even in this post your attempting to deminish my "realness".

the same way liverpool fans complain I don't post on united match threads

I'm definied by posting patterens, do you not see how retarded that is?

You dont share the opinions of Bohs fans and you dont give a toss what Manchester fans think, you are a diamond of a supporter, really, both clubs are lucky to "have you"

    Spoofer tbh

Share what opinion with what bohs fans?

What bohs fans have you discussed the game with?

A few 12yr olds on the tinternets?

How many manc fans from manchester do you know?

How many of them have you discussed the ins and outs of fans that live outside of manachster with?

    Genuis.

To be fair Trilla, when the national association decides to turn the opening of "our" fancy new stadium into a cynical exploitation of the armchair fan who are willing to shell out 50 notes to their one trip to any match this year, at the expense of, you know, promoting Irish football, and in fact sends a jokeshop outfit out to get slaughtered for the Sky TV viewing punters pleasure, christian/lions stylee, some people will get a bit ticked off.

So naturally, in time honoured fashion, and as we cannot hope to ever do anything to prevent this sort of ****e, we head to the interwebs to rant and rave in the appropriate thread, only to be informed by same Sky TV viewing spoofers that we may be wrong about one or more points weve made in said rants!

The indignity Trilla. The humanity! I think I can almost feel what its like to be a Shels fan and have the whole universe conspiring against me. :)

Yeah i understand 101%. But the argument seems to go on and on without compromise or solution.

I love Manchester United, I love the League of Ireland... I go to most Bohs games as much as I can. I understand completely. I really felt it to see United win in the fashion they did. It was embarrassing to see the stadium full of red jerseys shouting against a squad dominated by Irish men.

But this argument cant go on and on and on and on and on like it does

The funny thing is, like your "result" in Italy last night

if united had been beating you would have been on harping on to anyone who would listen about the quality in the league.

I hear you, but the nature of this forum is that it will go on and on, unless they split it into two forums I guess.

Lol, the quality of the league is dismal this year. If we had lost 20-0 in Modena i would still be proud to have been there. I dont expect you to understand.

Why are you so interested anyway? I just looked at your posting history, you only comment on Bohs European matches. No match threads, no weekly LOI threads, nothing. You are a spoofer, the games up.

Anyways, Im off to bed. I think I have a cold from attending a football match in the rain.

    True.

I think a détente will only happen when both sides jump first. Derogatory comments have to be phased out on both sides.

The other thread about the future of the LOI is civil and interesting on both sides, if a beaten docket but you could say that about most popular football topics.
