Thats nothing, Calley is small fry compared to the Jackie Healy Rea sons.

    See: http://www.independent.ie/national-news/healyrae-brothers-got-euro110000-for-year-on-council-2282813.html

Calley is an amateur. The Rea family have the money grabbing business sown up better!

If they actually decide to get rid of Ivor, he is "entitled" to €160,000 golden handshake in addition to a €60k pension.

    For fcuk sake...

Oh and just to highlight some irony, the papers today are filled with both the Ivor story and the fact the 450,000 people are now unemployed and struggling to get by.

When the the peasantry are caught stealing it's theft and they are charged as such (rightfully so).

When the ruling class are caught it's classed as "conduct unbecoming" and they are encouraged to step down from their lucrative positions and accept a large amounts of money for the inconvenience.

When are you feckin plebs going to learn your places? There's a pecking order here and you gob****es are the bottom of it.

The other senators don,t like him, hes drawing attention to how much money they get for expenses.
I HOPE they close down the senate ,its a talking shop that,s costing millions to run, which is totally useless .
IT serves no purpose ,but to give a home to old tds that cannot get elected, and party hacks.
Go to senate, get large salary, fat pension for talking to other politicians.

This is reinforcing my absolute hatred of politicians and their callous disregard to people working their asses off just to live in a box in some **** suburb.

this man is pure filth and it makes me sick. if there was any justice left in this world criminal charges would be brought against him. it makes me sick to my stomach to live in a country where good people are dying because our health service is a joke and we are constantly told there is no money and more cutbacks take place. all the while politicians like this **** are using our taxes to live a life of luxury. just look at the expenses the likes of Harney claimed for their paddys day trips abroad, its sickening.

Psychologically, it's probably not good for me to hate people like this, but I do. A LOT!

But sure what, you have the likes of Willie O'Dea committing perjury and still on the backbenches, Ceann Comhairle John O'Donoghue, son in law of Michael Pat Murphy, former Labour TD, taking €200,000 in taxpayer funds and standing up as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Where are the consequences? I've never understood how people like this can look in the mirror every morning.

    What's all the fuss about?

He claimed over €80k in travel expenses from an address that he didn't live at - we've all gotten confused over our address from time to time.

He didn't declare a handsful of properties - probably just forgot he had them. Easy mistake to make.

Claimed €3k on mobile phones from a company that didn't exist - actually have no idea about this one. My phone company sends me a new phone each year for free. *

    This is just a witchhunt!

    * Yes, I know it's not really free.

My wife went to a conference in some flash hotel, and was waiting in the lobby before the conference started. One of the Healy-Rae sons arrived, and instead of actually attending the conference, he picked up an information pack and left. They never saw him again.

I wonder what the expense rate was for "attending" that conference?

...But it wasn't one expense claim, it was one of many, many!

...And lets be honest, IF a person is that stupid to use the wrong address many times, what the hell are they doing as a state representative if they are that thick!

He didn't get the address wrong of where to submit his claims did he!

And they'll still be laughing all the way to the bank when the natives vote them all in again, except the old buffoon, who is apparently handing his TD's crown to one of his princes for the next general election.

I expect there's another Healy-Rae waiting to take the crowned prince's place on the Kerry councillor gravy-train.

He, Jackie, himself has mentioned that one of his sons will attempt to take over Jackies seat with he, himself manages to get enough cash - sorry - let it go to his sons via local election.

..And fools will put the son in and we get another "Cally" continuing/increasing the amounts lost in the money grabbing, state sanctioned racket!

Let us not forget this guy:

    http://www.independent.ie/national-news/dempsey-flies-to-derry-while-chauffeur-drives-250km-to-meet-him-at-airport-2286640.html

Spent 100,000 of YOUR money, without a second thought, just to travel. Imagine what that money would do to our lifes? He just used it to get his ass from A to B.

    Sickened.

Dempsey being the Transport Minister, had to make use of as many modes of transport as he could. I bet there was also a boat, a donkey and a pushbike that never made it into the public domain. It's a feckin good job that we haven't got a space-ship.

    Who is that?

Brian Cowen? Oh wait, maybe either one of the Lenihans, possibly harney? Hanifan is a possibility or indeed manseragh? Coughlan isnt capable of speaking english, nevermind bullsh!ting in it. Good old Batt is good at spinning a yarn, as is Willie. Gormless may be away with the fairies and i dont know could ryan be called a bullsh!tter - he just deluded enough to believe everything he says.

Or it could have just been the KING of the bullsh!tters....bbb bbbb bbbbb Bertie!
