    How an Irishman caused WW2.

Well lad's it looks like World War 2 would'nt have happened if it was'nt for a Irishman saving Old Adolf.
The family of an Irish soldier who saved a young Adolf Hitler and fought on both sides during World War I has published his memoirs after they were missing for more than 40 years.
The amazing wartime tale of Dubliner Michael Keogh began when he joined the British Army in 1914 and won the George's Cross for bravery before being captured by the Germans in 1916. ................................................"The two on the floor were in danger of being kicked to death. I ordered the guard to fire one round over the heads of the rioters. It stopped the commotion."

The group of soldiers managed to haul out the two injured politicians.

"The crowd around muttered and growled, boiling for blood," he added.

"The fellow with the moustache gave his name promptly: Adolf Hitler."

It's one of those ideas that seem good at the time but you kick yourself later.

Well if Hitler didn't do 'it', someone else would have. Wouldn't have made a difference.

That's a disgrace. The Irish guy should have used his ability to see into the future before rescuing Hitler.

Maybe he did see into the future?

As he was most likely a member of a Freikorps , he might not only have saved Hitler's life but also have been involved in gettin him into power eventually.

WW2 would have still happened, Hitler wasn't the only psychopath in the Nazis.

True, but it was a lot easier fighting a madman than someone who was sane.

Someone who listened to their war advisors more, could've prolonged the war much further. Near the end of the war Hitler was losing it, believing he had extra imaginary army units who were going to save him.

Taking on the Russians before he had conquered Britain(and Ireland) was a very silly and costly action on his part. It effectively lost him the war.
